Stashaus is operated by melangeroom. Stashaus helps users stash shopping products into a private board through a Chrome Extension and related web pages.

Information stored locally

The Chrome Extension stores product information, board settings, budget values, comparison selections, app settings, optional Pro Mode settings, Taste reports, AI grouping results, and Style Advisor messages in the user's browser.

Optional account and cloud sync

Users may choose to create an account and sync selected Stashaus data through Supabase. Synced data may include account email, stashed product information, liked state, status, stores, budgets, and related board data.

Pro Mode and AI providers

Pro Mode is optional. If a user enters their own AI API key, the key is stored locally in the browser. Stashaus does not provide API credits and does not pay for the user's AI usage. AI features run only when the user explicitly starts a Pro feature or sends a Style Advisor message.

Data sent to AI providers

When Pro Mode is used, Stashaus may send a limited product summary to the selected AI provider. This can include product title, brand, store, price, currency, category, status, stock status, color, material, product type, recent advisor messages, and budget context.

What we do not do

• We do not sell user data.
• We do not use stashed shopping data for advertising.
• We do not collect payment card numbers inside the extension.
• We do not sync local board data unless the user signs in and uses cloud sync.

Export, deletion, and account data

Users can export local Stashaus data from the extension. Users can delete products, clear local data, or remove the extension from Chrome. Account and cloud data may be managed through Stashaus support while account management features are expanded.
